Ostwald LutzOSTWALD, Lutz Erdmann - It is with great sadness that the loving family of Lutz Ostwald announces his peaceful passing on June 19, 2019 Wednesday at the age of 71.

Lutz was a very generous, kind-hearted, fun-loving with a good sense of humour man. His kind heart has touched and changed lives of many people.

His sense of humour brought joy and happiness to his family and closest friends.

A viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25th in Mt. Pleasant Funeral Centre - 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto. Prayer Service will be held the following day at 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26th, also at Mt. Pleasant Funeral Centre Chapel, followed by Cremation at 11:00 a.m.

*Interment which will be held as Private Ceremony by immediate family members on Thursday, June 27th.

Lutz will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 29 years, Charito Ostwald, and her children: daughter Ivy Patricia and husband Thomas, favourite grandchild Isla Sophia, son Jay and his partner Francine. Lutz will be also truly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and long-time friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staffs of CICU and 5M-B Munk in Toronto General Hospital for their incredible care provided to Lutz and family; and a very special thanks to Dr. Diego Delgado, Cardiologist at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto.

The family also appreciates all the prayers, kind thoughts and concerns extended by the staffs of Mt. Sinai and St. Michael's Hospital.
