MONTANARI, Piero - Jesus welcomed Piero home on Monday, July 8th, 2019 at the age of 78. Piero died as he lived - peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Piero's world revolved around his wife, four children, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Lucia and cherished by his children, Pina (Richard), Nick (Michelle), Sandra (Sean) and Sabrina (Paolo).
Proud Nonno to Alyssa (Frank), Amanda (Jordan), Valentina, Peter, Lorraine, Sebastian, Liam, Sophia, Cian, Angelique, Celeste, Alexandra, Alana-Rose and Gianpaolo. Proud Great-Grandfather to Giovanni and Francesco.
Peter was predeceased by his sister Maria Pia (Frank), brothers-in-law Vito (Margherita), Rocco (Pauline - deceased) and sister-in-law Agata (Pietro). He will be forever remembered by his siblings Tecla (Lino), John (Phylis) and Silvana (Matteo - deceased).
He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 11th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill).
If so desired, donations in memory of Piero may be made to Hospital for Sick Kids.
