MACPHAIL, Robert Patrick - Cherished and loved, Robert passed away on July 9, 2019 at Sunnybrook hospital due to complications from a pneumonia.
His spouse Margarita Wagerer was at his side until the end; tender, attentive and loving.
Robert leaves behind Margarita and her family, who had become his own, his only son Andrew MacPhail, his siblings and their families, loyal friends, loves and accomplishments of his lives more recent and past, from Toronto and the province of Québec.
We will greatly miss his friendly, sociable charm, his quirky curiosity, his passion for ideas and knowledge, his characterful behaviour and fashion flare, but mostly, his generosity, presence and the love and care he shared with us.
A service will be held in the chapel at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto, on Wednesday, July 17 at 11am. A small reception will follow the service.
