SHIGRIS, Judy – With great sadness, passed away untimely, after a truly courageous battle with MDS bone marrow disease on October 29, 2020, at 1:31 pm.
Predeceased by her son Zohar, beloved wife of 50 years of heart-broken Joshua, loving mother and mother-in-law of Lisa and Lorne Herszkowicz, grandchildren Zachary, Brayden and Brooke and brother, Mota Kaz.
Judy will be truly missed by her very close cousins, more like brothers and sisters, who are incredibly saddened, Marvin and Judy Demone and Brian and Lois Demone and all of their families, as well as all of her family in Israel.
She lived an enthusiastic life as an adored and inspirational Hebrew teacher who was known for her goodness, decency, empathy, kindness and integrity. Her death is a tragedy to her family and to her many friends and students. She will be mourned and missed by all who knew her.
