WALKER, Lenore Jean - It is with much sadness that I post the passing of Lenore on Thursday, November 5, 2020 after a short illness at the Scarborough General Hospital in her 87th year.
Lenore is survived by her brother John (Peggy) and her daughter from Calgary, Shirley Popadiuk (Ben), two granddaughters Jamie and Lauren, and one great granddaughter Grace.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lenore resided at Shephard Ville in Scarborough for many years where she had many friends. She was a member of the Queensway Pentecostal Cathedral for many years.
Over the years, Lenore had many jobs, preferring to work mostly through Employment Agencies later settling into a full time position with the Salvation Army prior to retiring.
Lenore was interested in painting both watercolours and oils, her specialty being facial pictures.
Lenore will be sorely missed by family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00am. The service will be live streamed.
A private interment will take place following the service.
