Connolly IthelCONNOLLY, Ithel Ann (Llewellyn) - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Ithel  Connolly. Ithel passed peacefully on December 19, 2020, at the age of 64, in her home with her family by her side.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Broe) and Francis Llewellyn.

Left to mourn are her husband and best friend, Michael.

Her children, Tara (Sean O’Leary), Maura (Steven Culloo) and Kieran (Jenna Callan) and her three beautiful granddaughters, Sinead and Orla O’Leary and Everleigh Connolly.

As well as her sister Elizabeth Taylor (Richard), brother, Victor Llewellyn (Louise) and her closest friends Rose and Ed Shikatani.

Ithel was born in Essex, England and moved to Canada at the early age of 1. She would spend her childhood in the community of the Beaches on Brookmount Road, which brought her many cherished memories and where she would meet Michael. From there they would set roots in the Topham Park area of East York and raise their family.

Ithel formed many lasting friendships with the people in her community, especially with neighbours, who were a tremendous support to her and her family in her final months. Heavily involved in Topham Park baseball for many years, Ithel shared her generous nature and good will by volunteering many years of service to the program which brought her so much joy.

Our family would like to thank all of those who helped our dear mother during the remaining months of her life, especially the personal support workers from the Neighbourhood Group as well as the medical care from the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care.

Memorial services will be postponed at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Donations can be made in memory of Ithel to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Car.
