THERIEN, Robert Thomas  -  It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Bob Therien, the grand patriarch of our little family.

He passed away quietly in the small hours of December 26, 2020.

He's off to join his beloved Nancy, who predeceased him on July 4, 2015.

Nancy was his reason for being, his "Little Darling", his "Moogs", his rock and his anchor.

The pain and loss of her passing were a heavy burden for him to carry but he soldiered on as best he could to help his boys find their peace in the wake of her death. His work complete, he slipped away quietly to be eternally by her side in the deep love they shared together. Bob and Nancy were fiercely proud of their children Danny (Anna), Jamie (Marni) and Robbie (Kerri).

Their grandchildren, Michael and Sam, Griffin and Declan, Jessica and Alyson (and their mother, Astrid) brought them no end of enjoyment, laughs and endless memories of family fun. Happily, he was able to meet and even spend some time with his great grandchildren, Bobby and Betty, Owen and, Charlotte.

He will leave a giant hole in everyone's lives and will be sorely missed.

We can all keep his memory alive in our hearts and our minds so, the next time you're having a quiet glass of wine and watching a sunset maybe raise your glass and toast them both with a knowing nod and a smile and thank them for the peace.

In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request that you all stay home and follow lockdown protocols so we can prevent this wretched Covid-19 from stealing more of the good humans of our planet.

Due to Covid restrictions etc., we will not know how or when, if at all, any funeral will be held.

In due course he will be interred beside Nancy in their family plot, just down the cemetery lane from his own Mom and Dad.
