Bain PaulBAIN, Paul Edward "Ned"  -  July 21, 1933 - December 24, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Ned Bain announces his passing on December 24, 2020, in Trenton, Ontario.

Ned was the only son of Ralph and Josephine Bain and grew up in the Beach in Toronto.

As a youth, he enjoyed participating in sports and was proud to have attained the highest level in scouting, King Scout.

In 1959, Ned married Marie Cormack and in 1969 they settled in Carrying Place, Ontario, where they raised their five children: Paul (Coralee), Ann Turnbull (Larry), Lisa Knapik (Karl), Linda, and John.

With Marie, Ned spent many winters in Barbados and Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico and loved spending time with their 8 grandchildren: John Proctor (Dianna); Rachel, Leah and Max Turnbull; Colin and Marek Knapik; Olivia Bain; and Xander Bain. Ned was predeceased by his treasured Marie in 2005.

In 2007, Ned married his beloved second wife, Annie McKeown, and together they shared their love of travel to all corners of the globe as well as summers at their cottage on Rice Lake and winters in Progreso, Mexico. Ned was a devoted and loving son, husband, father and grandfather and leaves to mourn his many relatives in Ontario and New Brunswick and dear friends around the world including many Canadians and Mexicans met during his 20 winters in the Yucatan.

Keeping with Ned's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Mass of Christian Burial will take place a St. Peter's Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Chix Food Bank (c/o Sharon Helgason) through Canadian Food for Children, Attention: Luz Marie Vargas, 1258 Lakeshore Rd., Mississauga, ON L5E 1E9.
