Wickland DouglasICKLAND, Douglas (Paul)  -  November 20, 1942 - December 26, 2020

Passed away peacefully and with family at the Rekai Wellesley Central Place on Boxing Day, 2020 following a long battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia.

Doug was the beloved husband of Linda, father of David (Emily), Janet (Christian), cherished grandfather of Tessa and Tristan, and older brother of Ingrid and Jim.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Doug was born in Truro, Nova Scotia and raised in East Lansing, Michigan and later Guelph, Ontario. After graduating from McMaster University and Althouse College at UWO, Doug volunteered with CUSO teaching overseas in Kabala, Sierra Leone from 1967-1969.

Our thanks and admiration to the staff who cared for him throughout his stay at Rekai.

A celebration of life will be held with family and friends when it is safe.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choosing.
