WINN, Diane "Dot" (nee MAKEPEACE) - December 30, 1933 – December 29, 2020
Our lovely mum passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, one day before her 87th birthday.
She was a sweet, caring, loving mum (spelt the British way!) to both of us - Keith Winn and Jill MacInnes; adored and adoring wife of Eric Winn.
Cherished sister of Glynis Ludley; doting nanna to Morgan and Tait MacInnes and Summer (Ramage) Winn; and wonderful mother-in-law to Jennifer Ramage and Neil MacInnes.
More than anything she loved her family, enjoying family tea with lots of laughter, and taking wonderful care of our dad, keeping him on the straight and narrow.Though she missed her garden terribly in recent years, she made many friends among the staff and residents at Amica retirement home in Bronte, where there were many stories of raucous, hilarious dinner conversations at their shared dining table.
It is no surprise hers was the merriest and loudest table.
There will be no visitation or service due to COVID-19.
