McLAUGHLIN, Jean Helena Tait - Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021, at home, after a life well lived.
She was born in Toronto on March 23, 1932, to Florence and William Tait, and settled in Brampton in 1952 after marrying the love of her life, Robert "Noggin" McLaughlin. They were married for more than 40 years before his passing in 1993.
Jean enjoyed a long career at American Motors Chrysler. She was a world traveller, social butterfly, card shark at the euchre tables and loved spending her summers at the cottage with her family.
Jean is survived by her two daughters Cindy Meisner and Lorrie Graham, sons-in-law Jim (deceased) and Murray, and grandchildren Sarah, Madeline, and Blair (Tara).
She is also survived by her chosen children, the Cuthberts: Shelley (Mark), Paul (Claudette), Brent (Kathy), and Sharon (Gord).
A private funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15th at 10:30 a.m. Zoom details about a livestream link to the service will be available on the website of Ward Funeral Homes, BRAMPTON chapel at the time of the service.
In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, to honour Jean's love of animals.
