Cunningham CharlieCUNNINGHAM, Charles 'Charlie' Peden - Passed away suddenly in his 90th year, on January 12, 2021.

Charlie will be greatly missed by his sons Russell (Janice), Brian (Sharon), and his grandchildren Casey, Graham, Amanda and Ashley, as well as his sister Isa, of Scotland.

He was predeceased by his brother Jack (Nancy) of Scotland and George (Helen) of Mississuaga as well as his parents, George and Isabella.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 8, 1931, Charlie immigrated to Canada with his loving wife, Catherine in 1956. They later had two sons and settled in Mississauga where he worked as a property manager and at the Toronto Island Airport in his later years.

When Catherine passed away in 1985, a few years later Charlie met Noreen Cole (deceased) of Brampton, and enjoyed a long and loving relationship with her and her family.

Many thanks to the devoted staff of Simcoe Terrace in Barrie for their care and support over the years.

He will be lovingly remembered by everyone for his constant smile, his sense of humour, his many stories and his Scottish slang! Rest in peace, Charlie, you will be forever in our hearts.

Private visitation and funeral arrangements entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton for January 19th.
