Robinson PeggyROBINSON, Margaret 'Peggy' Angela - (January 12, 1930 - January 12, 2021) -

In life’s journey, we connect and develop relations with family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. Some connections are fleeting and pass quickly while others linger and grow.

With a family of eight siblings, consisting of 4 brothers and 4 sisters, there were innumerable connections to family, inlaws, nephews, nieces and friends. And there were connections through Peggy’s beloved hobby of ice-skating. Later, as Peggy grew her own family through marriage and children, her love and connections grew as well.

Throughout her life Peggy had the opportunity to live in four different countries and travel to many more.  She enjoyed a variety of work opportunities, from being an airline stewardess in India, to a legal and medical secretary in England, Australia and Canada. Each provided its own unique connections to colleagues and in each, friendships with neighbours and members of the community.

Even in the last years at the Long Term Care Home, Peggy continued to leave her impression on the staff, volunteers and other residents family members, whom she met.

In her 91 years of life, Peggy made an indelible print on each and every person she met.  Although Peggy (Mum) is no longer with us, the memories of our time with her will never be forgotten.

Survived by sons Darryl and Christopher, daughters-in-law Wendy and Michelle, and grandchildren Jenneke and Raewynne.

Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel.

If

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
