BETTS, Greta - It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Greta Betts (nee Peterson) announces her passing on January 17, 2021.
Greta passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg. Beloved wife of the late George Betts for 69 years, loving mother to Valerie (Dan), caring grandmother to Stephen (Angela), Karyn (Brendan) and Jessica (Alex) and proud great-grandmother to Liam and Sophia.
Greta will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for being a kind and caring person.
She had a great sense of humour and always had a story to tell.
Greta and George enjoyed over 50 years of square dancing together making lifelong friends along the way.
Greta's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their very kind and compassionate care.
Those wishing to make a donation in Greta's memory may do so to a charity of their choice.
Cremation has already taken place. Due to the Pandemic, a private family service will take place.
