Freimanis AmandaFREIMANIS, Amanda Marie - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Amanda Marie Freimanis, who was taken from us tragically on Friday, January 29, 2021, at the age of 33.

Although devastated, we take some comfort that she is reunited with her father Visvaldis Freimanis, as well as her grandparents.

Beloved daughter to Louise and loving sister of Christine (Paul). Proud aunt of Michael, dear niece of Atis in Seattle, USA and Raitis (Vineta) in Sweden. Cousin to Nicole, Davis and Sandis.

Cherished friend to many including Shelbie and Arija.

Amanda was a kind and caring free spirit who lived life dancing to her own beat. If you had to choose a word to describe her, one that would definitely come to mind is “infectious." Whether it be her beautiful smile, vibrant personality or her ability to get others to join in her love of art and beat dancing – she was infectious in everything she did.

Although proud of her Latvian heritage, her love for travel and worldly experiences took her abroad – including her favourite trip to Thailand with her uncle Atis. She had such a strong love of animals – whether it be sending pics of her cats to family and friends, or talking about her favourite imaginary animal - unicorns. In quieter moments, she enjoyed solitude in nature and trying to catch a glimpse of majestic butterflies.

Amanda will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by so many loyal friends – too many to count. A gathering will be held once family and friends can gather – the way Amanda would want it. Arrangements entrusted with Ridley funeral home, Etobicoke.

“WE LOVE YOU AMANDA PANDA”
