ISON, Avelina “Belen” Nunez - It is with great sadness that the family of Avelina Ison announces her sudden passing, on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the age of 88 years, two days shy of her 89th birthday.
Born in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on February 5, 1932, Avelina survived a war, married her hometown sweetheart, owned a successful canteen, raised her children and grandchildren, moved to Canada and travelled the world.
Avelina loved cooking, soap operas, TFC and spending time with family and God.
She will be fondly remembered by her loving husband of 68 years, Fortunato, their five children Leonila (Ulysses), Roselyn (Domingo), Edelito (Cornelia), Aurelio (Erlinda) and Editha (Nelson), and 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
We love you, miss you, will never forget you and always keep our fond memories, Belen/Nanay/Lola/Great-Lola/Lola Lola.
