BOWER, Marilyn Joyce (nee Rollo) - November 20, 1933 - February 4, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Bower (nee Rollo) who died peacefully, in her home with Zack and Tracey by her side on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Daughter of the late Douglas Howard and Theresa Jewell Rollo, devoted and loving wife to the late Laurie Bower for 53 years, cherished mother and mother-in-law to Tracey and John Hamilton, and beloved nana to Jackie (Ryan), Amy and Zack.
Marilyn was a founding member of The National Ballet of Canada and later on, danced in many touring productions and CBC television shows.
A lover of all animals, Marilyn had a special place in her heart for her schnauzers Snoopy and Lucy.
She took great pride in her cooking and created many a delicious meal for family and friends throughout the years.
Stubborn and sassy until the end, Marilyn lived life on her own terms and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
