KOLANKOWSKI, Mary Barbara - October 2, 1926 – January 27, 2021 - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 94.
Mary will be remembered by her daughter Irene (Nick), grandchildren Deanna (Mark), Michelle (Jason), Tyler (Lesley), Jennifer (Steve), and many great grand-children and extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike, children George Kolankowski and Wanda Hansen, her son-in-law Tom Hansen, and her grandson Jason Kolankowski.
Mary enjoyed cooking, and often made delicious meals and treats for those she loved. She took pride in her home and garden, and her yard was always full of plants and flowers.
In earlier years, she enjoyed fishing and spending time at the family lot in Fairmont or visiting and playing cards with family and friends.
The family extends their thanks to the wonderful staff at the Mayfair long term care home for the care and compassion they provided Mary in the last years of her life.
A private family service will be held with burial to follow.
