FANELLI, Frank - March 27, 1938 - February 5, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Frank Fanelli in his 83rd year.
Frank will be greatly missed by his wife Sylvia, his son Dan (Wendy Jo), his daughter Nancy (Dave), his granddaughters Sabrina and Astoria, along with many family and friends.
Frank was born in Modugno, Italy and came to Canada in 1954, aboard the Roma that docked in Halifax, where he experienced his first view of snow.
He found work right away and paid a co-worker one dollar per day to teach him English.
It did not take long for Frank to adapt to his new world.
Frank settled in Toronto, where he met Sylvia and the two were married for almost 58 years.
He had a great love for his children and grandchildren and they were his greatest pride.
He was a very handy man who was forever teaching his son and son in law how to build and fix things.
Frank will be fondly remembered for his elaborate fish dinners, his love of card games and his stories of growing up in Italy during WWII. Frank was very loved by his family and will be very much missed.
We will see you in every flower shining in the sun. We love you.
