SMITH, Ross E.   - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross, on January 18, 2021, at age 94.

He is survived by loving wife, Helen; loving father of Carolyn and Cynthia (Robin).

Also survived by dear sister, Sandra; dear cousin, Virginia; nieces, nephews and their children; relatives and friends.

Ross was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Irene and brothers, Grant (Beryl) and Ken (Joan). Ross achieved his BA from Wilfred Laurier University.

He joined the army and became Captain and Adjutant. He achieved his MBA from University of Western Ontario. He worked for MacLean Hunter and later became an Instructor of business courses at George Brown College.

He enjoyed the outdoors and travel, especially family road trips, crossing many parts of Canada and the US in an orange camper van. Ross enjoyed flowers and brought a bouquet to Helen every week.

Down to earth, with a quick wit and the ability to analyze, he was also a great storyteller.

Thank you to Dr. David Eisen, Jessica and staff and Dr. Amanda Li, Sara, Tina and staff, and many health care supporters.

Thank you to Dr. Bell and staff at North York Hospital.
