Boyko MichaelBOYKO, Michael - (1925 - 2021) - Passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 63 years, Wilma. Loving father to Peter (Susan) and Andrew (Kathy). Cherished Grandpa to Ivan, Samantha, Melissa & Natalie.

Predeceased by his sisters Maria and Luba.

Michael (Mike) was a kind and gentle man with a strong work ethic. Born in Ukraine, he came to Canada after the Second World War, first living in Kenora, and later settling in Toronto and working at Continental Can Company (Plant 54) for 36 years until its closure.

He found his dream job once retired, watching over his grandkids with Wilma. In his last few years Michael spent his time with Wilma on daily walks and enjoying the company of his family.

A private funeral service will take place of February 15th at the Ridley Funeral Home, followed by a private interment at Parklawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church or an agency that supports shut-ins or the elderly would be appreciated by the family.
