LASQUINHA, Jose de Sousa - It is with great sadness that the family of Jose de Sousa Lasquinha announces his passing after a valiant fight, on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the age of 88 years.
Jose will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Maria Angelina and his children, Luis, Rosa & her husband Phil, Maria & her husband Dinis and Jeannie.
He will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Diane, Brian, Matthew, Amanda, Ethan and Rowan.
He is survived by his siblings, Jose Cruz, Manuel Cruz, Maria-Francisca Carvalho, Ana Lasquinha, and Leonia Viera.
Jose will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Special to his heart were his sister-in-law Lucia & nephew Walter Cruz and his niece Aida Duarte who were by his side until the end.
