Wallace MervWALLACE, Mervyn Albert - After a lengthy illness, Merv passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 12, 2021 with his family by his side. 

Beloved husband of 48 years to Marion and devoted father to Coreena (Tom Boyle). 

Proud grandpa to Adam and Eric. 

Predeceased by his parents William and Myrtle (Heller) and his brother Ronald (Edith). 

Mervyn will be lovingly remembered by his extended family in-laws; Eddy (the late Rose Baldacchino); Carl and Brigitte Pridmore. 

Beloved uncle to Craig Wallace, Bruce Wallace (Cheryl) the late Evan Wallace, Frank Baldacchino, Marion Marrone (Marco) Jeffrey Pridmore, Colin Pridmore (Stephanie Maiato). Great uncle to Miranda Varricchio (Laura), Cadence Ashton (Bill); Raelyn Wallace, Bonnie Wallace and Jonathan Marrone (Charlotte Searle). 

Merv leaves behind close lifelong family friends Danny and Sandra Wallace, Patricia Collins, Angela Hickey and Velma Brown.  Honored (special) uncle of Eric Wallace and Lisa Buchanan and their families. Merv has been reunited with lifelong friends the late Gary Collins; the late Robert Hickey and the late David Brown.

Merv was born and raised in East York and attended Chester Public School and East York Collegiate High School.

In his later years Merv enjoyed puttering around his house on Argonne Street in North York, spending time with his grandchildren and enjoying his weekly outings to the Casino.

A private family funeral will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 2 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
