WOOD, Beverley Paterson - (1936 -2021) - Beverley Paterson Wood passed peacefully at South Lake Regional Health Centre February 13, 2021 with her son Geoffrey by her side.
She is survived by her son Geoffrey (partner Kirsty Stevenson) and her brother Peter Paterson.
Beverley was born in Toronto March 4, 1938. She is predeceased by her parents Robert Ross (1983) and Helen Gertrude (1998).
Beverley was devoted to her family and friends, a faithful parishioner of Trinity Anglican Church in Aurora and was passionate about supporting the Aurora community. Beverley’s interests, time and efforts have been recognized with her being awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), the Order of the Diocese of Toronto (2014) and the Aurora Citizen of the Year (2014).
The family would like to thank York Region Paramedic Services and the health teams at Mackenzie Health, South Lake Regional Health Centre as well as Qualicare Homecare for their professionalism, compassion and care of Beverley over the past month.
Cremation will take place followed by a private family service. A celebration of life will be held at a future date for all to attend.
