IVANOV, Tzvetan Stamenov - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tzvetan peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, on Wednesday, March 11, 2021.

He is survived by his devoted wife Marinka Ivanova, by his loving daughter Sonia Kiriakova, and his son Svetlomir Ivanov.

Cherished father-in-law to Wolfgang Piske and loved brother-in-law of George Riapov, and George’s three sons Paul, Iavor, and Jeko Riapov.

Loved by sister-in-law Snejana Sabeva.

Doting grandfather to Martin Ivanov, Nygle Johnson, Ambrosia Johnson, and Svetlomir Ivanov.

Predeceased by his loving parents Stamen Ivanov and Kula Ivanova, and younger brother Vladislav Ivanov.

Tzvetan lived his life with generosity, conviction and laughter. His devotion to family was second to none. Each family member views him as a hero and father figure. An incredible and talented actor, being one of the best within all of Europe. Receiving fame for his endeavors; an accomplished actor and director for 30 years.

He was the most empathetic, loving, and caring man; the strongest hero -- fighting cancer for the last 11 years. He came to Canada with Marinka to take care of family together, of which he did till his last breath. Marinka and Tzvetan accomplished half a century together with inseparable love.

Tzvetan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by generations of family and friends both in Bulgaria and in Canada.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the services for Tzvetan will be a private Family affair.

We thank all of you for your support during these difficult days, and hope we can all gather to celebrate his life in the future.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are welcome and appreciated.
