LANE, Theresa Marie (nee Aultman) - (October 7, 1934 – March 10, 2021) - Peacefully at the Renoir Retirement Residence in Newmarket.

Beloved wife of the late Aeneas Lane. Mother of of Aeneas (Anne), Mary, Patricia, John (Carol), and the late Denise. Grandmother of Julia, Jennifer, and Jarrod. Great-grandmother of Tristen, Eric, Madison, and Cody.

Theresa was born the youngest of six children in Alsace, ON and came to Toronto at age 17 after the death of her mother, where she met her future husband. When he died in a work accident, she raised their five children by herself. She also helped raise many other children, and supported the elderly in her community. Her door was always open.

If desired, donations can be made to Genetic Aortic Disorders Association of Canada (gadacanada.ca), the Canadian Cancer Society, the Margaret Bahen Hospice (myhospice.ca), or the charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, with a livestreamed funeral mass (invitation only) at St. John Chrysostom Church, Newmarket on March 17th.
