WILLIAMSON, William George - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) on March 13, 2021 in his 79th year.

Loving brother of Sharon. He will also be missed by close family members, Ed (June), Ron (Bette), and Ken (Ginny).

Also remembered by many cousins and family members in Canada and the UK.

Bill lived his entire life in Markham spending his early years working on the farm with his father Fred. He then spent the next 31 years working at Reesor’s Marmill in Markham until retirement.

He was also well known in the hockey community as the Assistant Equipment Manager with the Markham Waxers hockey team for many years.  Bill was an avid sports fan and closely followed the Leafs and Blue Jays.

The family thanks the staff at Amica Swan Lake and the medical team at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their kindness and exceptional care.

Donations to the MSH would be appreciated.

Memorial service will be held at a later date due to covid restrictions.
