CHAPMAN, Robert 'Bob' Harvey - B.A, C.A. - October 23, 1944 – March 12, 2021 -

Bob passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of 52 years, Branka; his beloved daughters: Melissa (Daniel) and Kirsten (Neil); his cherished grandchildren: Taylor, Cameron, Lauren, Reid, Turner and Lillian; and his loving nephew, Tony (Gloria), niece, Tanya, and grandnephew, Markus.

He will forever be remembered for his dedication to his family, his outgoing personality, his love of music, and his sense of humour, which he never lost.  Bob was very committed to his community, volunteering his time and enthusiasm to many organizations over the years; most recently as a valued member on the boards of the Lawrence Park Condominium and the Rotary Club of Toronto Leaside.

Bob touched the lives of so many people, both near and far, many of whom became his extended family and held a very special place in his heart. Bob could make a friend anywhere he went. He forged lifelong friendships through his career in the automotive industry, his volunteer work, and his role as a founding member of the Z League. You could often find Bob playing golf with his buddies at the Royal Flemington, and he never missed an opportunity to proudly cheer on his grandchildren at their activities.

Nothing brought Bob more joy than spending time at his beloved cottage, surrounded by his family and his friends on Belgrove Crescent. He will be remembered in every visit from a hummingbird and every sunset on the shores of Georgian Bay.

A private family service has been held.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Rotary Club of Leaside Charitable Foundation in Bob’s memory.
