WALKER, Margaret Ellen (nee McDOUGALL) - Margaret passed away, at Michael Garron Hospital on Friday, February 12, 2021.
She is survived and greatly missed by husband Ian and son Colin, sisters Kathleen (late Al), Geraldine (Terry), nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends.
Margaret was born September 30, 1941 in Kirkland Lake, ON, third daughter of Mary and Gerrard McDougall.
She trained as an R.N. at St. Joseph's Nursing School in Toronto and dedicated her life to nursing.
Her career included three years volunteering in Thailand and forty years in hospitals and nursing homes in Toronto and beyond until retirement in the early 2000s.
She enjoyed quilting, having coffee and spending time with family. She will be fondly remembered for her unique sense of humour and immense care for others.
Cremation took place on February 19th.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
