Harris RobertHARRIS, Robert William - (February 17, 1942- March 21, 2021) -

When we think of Robert Harris we think of the man he was. A loving, caring, kind hearted man. We think of all the things he accomplished in his life.

He came across to Canada on a boat not once, but twice. He was born and raised in Bristol, England by Ted and Nellie Harris.

At 25 he made his life here in Toronto, Canada. He married his love Diane and raised two children Edwin and Jaclyn.

He was a loving brother to John Harris (predeceased brother), Edwin Harris (predeceased brother), Dorthy Harris (predeceased sister), Philip Harris (predeceased brother), and David Harris, as well as all his nieces and nephews in England.

An amazing grandfather to Jacob and Paige Michael and Charli Hawley and Great Grandfather to Easton Beavers and Aurora Hawly, he was a loving brother in-law to all his in laws in Canada, and a loving uncle, to so many nieces and nephews.

He was a hard-working man who never missed a day of work and retired at Mr. Christie's Bakery at 62. And he had many friends. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Arrangements entrusted with Ridley funeral home, Etobicoke.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home or church facilities are limited. Guests wishing to attend must select a time slot by registering on the funeral home's website.
