GONCALVES, Teresa (Vilaca) - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa on Monday, March 22, 2021. After a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease, Teresa passed peacefully.
She was born on September 7, 1940 in Braga, Portugal.
She married Manuel Goncalves and came to Canada on May 28, 1971.
She is survived by her children Carlos, David and John.
Her daughter-in-laws Susan and Antonietta and grandchildren, Julia, Johnny and Samantha Goncalves.
She will forever be remembered for her kind hearted nature. Her love of family was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Mom, we will forever miss your beautiful smile, your immense devotion to your family and your never-ending patience. you were always there for us whenever we needed you.
Your passing has left a void in our hearts, but we all know that you are in a better place now.
It's not goodbye, it's "Til we meet again!"
Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.
