SAXON, Gerald - William November 9, 1942 - March 24, 2021
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Gerry in his 78th year.
Gerry leaves behind his wife Rita of 51 years of marriage; his son David, whom he thought the world of, and his brother Lenard and his wife Beth.
Gerry has many sisters and brothers-in-law along with many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member and served many years in St. Thomas, London, Ontario and for a short time in Peterborough. Gerry gave many hours of his time to the less fortunate and was very generous to them.
Gerry spent a number of years fighting Parkinson's disease.
He fought this vigorously and never lost his sense of humour. He was a good husband and father and we will miss him terribly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Parkinson Canada.
We also thank all the caregivers, nurses and doctor at Extendicare Peterborough for their kindness and dedication.
Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery.
