COX, Jim "Coxy"   -  December 10, 1953 – March 20, 2021

It is with broken hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jim Cox on March 20, 2021 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband and best friend of Lynda for over 48 years.

Loving and proud father to Kim (Guy Cirinna) and David "DJ" (Pam DeMesa) and proud, loving Papa to Alexis and Tyson. Jim leaves behind mother-in-law Eileen Brown, brothers-in-law Ron and Randy (Frances) Brown, sister Pat Crouse (Steve); sisters-in-law Dale Matheson (Bill), Diane Catto and many nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind his many friends from 45 years with the City of Toronto (Scarborough), as well as from his years of involvement in minor hockey and lacrosse.

The family wishes to thank the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre and C2/Palliative Care staff for their excellent care and comfort in his final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
