Loving and adoring father and father-in-law of Adam and Hava, Michael and Samantha, and Robert.
Dedicated brother of Barry and Shirley and Nancy and Armin.
Much loved uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Admired and appreciated by all colleagues he worked with, patients he cared for and students he taught.
A kind and musical soul, Ken brought smiles and laughter to everybody he encountered, brightened any room he entered, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and cared for him. Ken's positive attitude and optimism throughout his life, particularly when faced with illness, was an inspiration to everyone around him. His greatest joy was his family.
The family deeply appreciates the care and compassion of the doctors who fought for Ken and with him during his illness - Drs. Srikala Sridhar, Alexandra Saltman, Srinivas Raman, and Neil Fleshner at Princess Margaret Hospital and Drs. Andrea Apolo, Scott Niglio and Howard Parnes at the National Institutes of Health - and are thankful for the support that ensured that he could spend his last weeks at home, surrounded and cared for by those who love him.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 02, 2021.
