Stein MelSTEIN, Melvyn 'Mel' Arnold  - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Melvyn on April 29, 2021.

He battled declining health with courage and dignity, but was, ultimately, a victim of COVID-19.

Beloved husband of Renee Stein.

Deeply loved by his children with the late Linde Stein: Timmi, Jacob (Maria), Eric (Drorit), and the late David, who would have turned 51 years old on the day of Mel's passing.

Proud and doting Zaidy to Samara Linde and Benjamin David.

Beloved big brother to Sandra, son of the late Sam and Ruth Stein.

A loving step father to Michael (Shirley), Peter (Sylvia), and dear Grandpa to Rachel, Matthew and Ryan. \

A first-class mentsh. He was warm, classy, witty, charismatic and one-of-a-kind. His distinctly Jewish soul was animated by a deep and abiding Yiddishkayt.

A self-made man in business and a pioneer in his industry. A man of many hobbies and interests, he was an avid reader with a voracious appetite for knowledge. Loved and cherished by his family and friends, our Big Guy leaves an immense absence. Remembered with honour, respect and love.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Memorial donations may be made to The Mel Stein Memorial Func c/o Benjamin Foundation.
