DE LAURENTIIS, Silvestro - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Silvestro on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Silvestro was the devoted husband of Angela Teresa (nee Di Giancroce).
Beloved father of Stefania (Louie), Rosanna and Paolo (Michelle).
Always loved and remembered by his grandchildren Alexander, Jacob, Bradley, Evan, Deanna, Alyssa (Mike) and Erick.
Dear brother of the late Evelina & Francesco, Erina & Umberto, Giuseppe & Rosa, Carina & Antonio, Romantino, survived by his wife Emma, Nello & Concetta, Guido & Francesca, brother-in-law of Giovanna & Giovanni, Armando & Lidia/Maria, Sperandino & Pia, Lino & Teresa, Giuseppe & Silvana, Padre Silvio and Tito.
Silvestro will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was the last of a wonderful legacy of De Laurentiis siblings who proudly forged a new life in Canada and embraced the best of both Canadian and Italian traditions. We will cherish these with tremendous gratitude and ensure that they continue to carry forward.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions visitation at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Lawrence the Martyr Roman Catholic Church and Entombment are private.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
