STANFORD, Jennie (nee POLISCHUK)   -  Passed away peacefully at home with her daughters at her side.

Jennie was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 63 years, Edward (Ted).

Cherished older sister to Olga.

Best mother ever to Connie (Ron), Christine and Tina (Johnny).

Doting grandmother to Jennifer, Joshua, Becca, Jesse, Matthew and Leah.

Ecstatic great-grandmother to Faye, Hannah, Edie, Ava, Thea, Tina, Max and Jackson.

Jennie was also adored as a second mother to Gail and a step-grandmother to Christopher and Hunter. She was also a loving second Nanny to Helen and her son Lucas. Jennie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Her family moved to Toronto after she finished high school where she met her soulmate Ted who lived across the street. She worked at National Trust during the early years of their marriage until the time came to start their family. When the kids were grown Jennie took great pride in working as a secretary for a few Royal Commissions.

Jennie was devoted to her family and took great delight in all the children and extended family who came along.

She will also be fondly remembered by countless nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and neighbourhood children.

There will be a private burial and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunshine Foundation in her name would be appreciated.
