Atkinson LorraineATKINSON, Lorraine Crystal (Malcolm) - 66 years of age and a resident of Brampton Ontario Canada passed after losing her battle with COVID-19 on April 28, 2021.

Loraine is the beloved daughter of Jocelyn Malcom and Ivy Maude Malcolm (nee Webster) born in the district of Hertford in the parish of Westmoreland Jamaica.

She is the cherished wife of Winston Atkinson and the loving mother of Geoffery, Winston Anthony (aka Floyd) and Kerri-Ann.

Loraine is one of nine siblings, the middle child and all that entails. Her childhood was happy and carefree and her adventures with Blossom, Yvonne, Christopher, Webster, Rosemaureen, Errol, Carol and Larry are still spoken of in the community.

She was destined for heights from an early age, she was brilliant and kind. She attended the most prestigious high school in the parish, Mannings School. She later answered the call to serve and undertook the necessary steps to become a qualified teacher by attending Mico Teachers College Jamaica.

She loved many cultures, and was drawn to several of their foods and traditions. Anything she saw of worth she would bring it back to the family with her own twist.

She was generous with her worldly goods as well as her time. She always made time to listen and give her feedback. She led her life with her bighearted smile. Very few were ever unfortunate enough to see her frown.

She was loving and devoted and many came view her as a sister or an auntie; she was not a stranger for long. We mourn her passing because we are human and will miss her sunshine.

Only the good die young.
