BEASANT, Audrey Elizabeth  - August 7, 1930 - April 28, 2021

Passed away at the Leaside Revera Retirement Residence, Toronto, of natural causes. Born in Verdun, PQ, Audrey, the eldest of 8, was predeceased by parents, L. Rodney Beasant and Jean Beasant and siblings, Gilmour (Loretta), Diana and Alice.

Left to mourn her passing are brothers, James (Ann), John (Carol), David, and sister, Margot (Carson}.

The "matriarch" was very proud of her family and being an Aunt to her 34 nieces and nephews.

Audrey enjoyed a successful 36 year career with Bell Canada (Montreal and Toronto), joining fresh from Westmount High School in April 1949 and subsequently rising to the management ranks.

A world traveller from the early '50s onwards, she especially enjoyed visiting relatives in the UK and New Zealand, along with trips to countless other destinations in Europe, Asia and South America.

She was also a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (Scarborough), for 30+ years. The family will always have precious memories of gatherings at Audrey's homes in Montreal and Toronto, where her homemaking and culinary skills were on display, and laughter and warmth prevailed.

Special thanks to the 6th floor caregiving staff at LRR.

Cremation has occurred and due to COVID-19 restrictions, a small family service at Ogden Funeral Home will occur on May 29th.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's memory to Alzheimer Society of Canada, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
