TORRIE, Bruce - Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 at his home with his wife Tui at his bedside.
Predeceased by first wife Elinore Torrie (nee: Durant) and his daughter Sheila Torrie.
Cherished Father of Lynn Torrie (Heather Walsh) and Neil Torrie (Amanda Robinson).
Grandfather of: Nathan, Daria, Sienna, Jayden and Kennedy. Sadly missed by: Don, Rob, Joy and Xavier.
Survived by his brother Jim (Amelia) and predeceased by his brother Fred (Myrna).
Bruce was a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Physics, University of Waterloo, a longtime member of Grand River Unitarian Congregation and of the K-W Community Orchestra.
Bruce's family will announce a celebration of his life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the EFAO / Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario (https://efao.ca) would be welcomed.
