Wright WinifredWRIGHT, Winifred Almond (nee ELLIOTT)   -  Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2021, at the age of 101 years.

Born in England, in 1920, to Arthur and Ada Elliott (nee Gibson).

Dear sister of the late Nena McLean (nee Elliott), Arthur Elliott, Robert Elliott, and Edward Elliott.

Mourned by a large extended family, "Mimi" was a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, and she had several treasured grandnieces and grandnephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with them.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 39 years, Charles Allan Wright.

Winifred worked for 27 years at the Gutta Percha Company and Canada Post.

She will be remembered for her enormous love of family, her beautiful paintings, her love of music, her sense of fun, and her keen intellect.

Winifred made many lasting friendships, was a wonderful and exceptional person, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Very special thanks to her friends and neighbours for their kindness and dedication.

A private funeral service will be held, with interment at St. Philip's Anglican Church Cemetery, Etobicoke, Ontario.
