Baker BrianBAKER, Brian - Shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday, Brian passed away at home in Newmarket on May 25, 2021, after a well-fought battle with congestive heart failure.

Brian is survived by Dorothy, his adoring wife of 58 years, his daughters Kelly (Jason) and Terri (Peter), his 5 grandchildren, Georgia, Danielle, Chloe, Josh and Marcus, and his sisters, Joan and Ruth (John).

Brian was born in Toronto and enjoyed his boyhood exploring ‘The Don Valley’. He found his calling as an auto mechanic early, and throughout his life amazed his family and friends with the ability to fix anything.

He went on to start two successful businesses - Milliken Motors and Stouffville Auto Service. His customers were astounded not only by his skill, but his integrity and quality care.

Even in his last weeks, his factual memory and dry humour prevailed. Anyone who encountered Brian always came away with wise advice and knowing he had their best interests at heart.

In light of COVID restrictions, there will not be a public funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Southlake Foundation would be appreciated, in recognition of the excellent care that Brian received at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
