SMITH, Alton Kenneth - Passed peacefully in the early hours of May 23, 2021 at Brampton Civic Hospital.
He leaves behind wife of 39 years, Vynette Smith; Son, Alton Smith in Jamaica and Daughter, Sharon Smith in England.
Grandchildren: Alleen Smith in Jamaica; Lauren Gray in England and Odain Smith in New York. Great Grand Daughter, Zoe Smith in New York and Great Grandson, Nathan Roberts in Jamaica.
He also leaves behind Sister, Joan Smith and Brother, George Smith in England. As well as Sisters-in-law Olive Hinds in New York, Joyce Morgan in Florida, Annmarie Hinds in New York and Jean Smith in England; Brother-in-law, Ovan Hinds in Jamaica.
In addition to Thirteen Nieces and Nephews and close family relative Beatrice Davis and Jacob Prasad and family in India.
He will be missed by his church family at Gospel Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Ajax; Pastor Dennis Lewis and family. His friend and confidant, Pastor Lovelace St. John and family and the Progress church family.
He belonged to many associations of which he will be greatly missed: RSOTA Ministerial Association; Faith Ministerial Fellowship; Zadok Ministries International and numerous family and friends worldwide.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 4, 2021 at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham and Saturday June 5, 2021 from 9:45AM to 10:45AM at Progress Church 4242 Kingston Rd. Scarborough On. Funeral will be held at 11:00AM. Internment at Ajax ON.
