BABRA, Livleen Singh - Made his last memorable moment on May 27, 2021.
Anyone who knew Liv would confidently state that he was an energetic, hilarious, consistent, “life of any party” type of personality.
His ability to make everyone authentically smile within seconds of meeting him was unbelievable.
Liv was born to Avtar Singh and Herban Kaur Babra on May 12, 1949, in the beautiful African city of Nairobi, Kenya.
He was the 2nd child of 7 entertaining, bright, mischievous and loving East Indian children.
Liv led an admirable and purposeful life, and was his happiest during the last few years of retirement, focusing almost solely on his artistic passion in his peaceful home in Fort Erie, Canada. He was always incredibly strong, lifting massive stones late into his 70’s to carve his next masterpiece.
That strength is what likely allowed him to fight cancer unknowingly for months! This until it finally consumed him, and was discovered in its final aggressive and late stage.
But even then, Liv pushed back on the relentless, destructive, and unfair condition for over half a year, not giving up until medical experts advised otherwise.
Liv will be reunited with his mother, father, late brother Kulraj, and many other friends and family that passed before him and who he mourned for.
Liv was a memorable son, sibling, father, uncle and grandfather and he will be missed him dearly. The world has unfortunately lost a charismatic light with Liv’s passing and between his lasting art, his life lessons, and his joyful attitude towards life all being etched like stone within all of us… “Liv will live on”..
