Murby RobertMURBY, Robert James  - August 15, 1937 - May 23, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Bob Murby say goodbye to a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Survived by his beautiful wife Beverley of 62 years; his children: Debbi (Bruce) Conzelmann, Jackie (Randy) Fisher, Robin (Mark) Kelly, Patti Murby-Thompson; his grandchildren: Chris (Cheryl) Conzelmann, Scott (Erica) Conzelmann, Katie Fisher (Mark Davidson), Kevin Fisher (Alesha Sim), Kelly Fisher (Zach Raycraft), Samantha Kelly (Chad Mainprize), Rebecca, Laura and Josh Kelly, Stephanie, Mike and Ben Thompson (Brooke Robertson), his great-granddaughter: Parker Thompson and his siblings: Joanne Grant, Helen McLellan and Jack Murby.

Predeceased by his son, Ted Murby and parents James and Margaret Murby.

Bob cherished everything family and built his business with a gift of making everyone feel part of it. He loved casual and whether in the role of businessman, farmer, entrepreneur, or negotiator, he was most comfortable in jeans and with first names.

For 70 years, he worked hard to grow King Cole Ducks, a unique agribusiness that he proudly watched flourish into its fourth generation. He never took credit, but always gave credit for every success along the way.

His love for travel allowed him to experience countries and cultures around the world, however, his favourite destination was the cottage on Balsam Lake surrounded by family, friends and a game of euchre.

His laughter was infectious and his positivity unmatched. That joy for life and smile will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held when we can hug again.
