Whitlock WanitaWHITLOCK, Wanita Jean - Always loved, Never forgotten, Forever missed…

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wanita Jean Whitlock on May 27, 2021 at the age 67 years.

Wanita is now reunited with her dear parents Neta and Wesley Irvine.

Wanita was the loving wife of Nason. Cherished mother of Brandie and her husband Blair Tsuji, Hilary Whitlock and Ryan Whitlock. She was the devoted grandmother of Hailey, Gunner, Gage, Cash, Brielle, Bryn and Brayden.

Wanita was the loving sister of Bobby Irvine, Billy Irvine and his wife Marjorie, Dale Irvine (predeceased) and his wife Susan and Roxanne Irvine. She was deeply loved by her many nieces and nephews. Wanita will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family, friends, the kids and staff of the elementary school she worked at and all who knew her.

Wanita was a truly remarkable woman who loved her family and friends. She had many interests and passions. She could often be found baking one of her many delicious treats. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to music. Wanita loved the outdoors and had a green thumb.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all their extended family, friends, and nurses for all the compassion and support shown to Wanita and the family during this difficult time.

Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Planning is underway for a celebration of Wanita’s life once family and friends are able to gather and truly celebrate the life of a wonderful person.
