LIDDELL, Lucille Rubena 'Lucy' (nee Davis) - Lucille Liddell, age 78 of Scarborough, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2021 at Scarborough General Hospital.

Known as Lucy to family and friends, she was born in Limlair, Guyana to Thomas and Jane Davis (nee Prince). The eldest of five siblings, Lucy was a sister, friend, wife, mother and grandmother.

A graduate of Carnegie School of Home Economics, Lucy’s activities included travelling; decorating; entertaining friends and family; and being a strong supporter of her Pentecostal Church community.

Although not a big fan of cooking, Lucy was well known for her bread, roly-poly, and pepperpot. Her roti and punch was always in demand.

Lucy is survived by her husband George; daughter Lena; sons Sherwin and Shaun; grandchildren Malcolm, Maya, Xeryus, and Tyrese; siblings Johannah and Wreford; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Lucy is predeceased by her son Seymour; parents Thomas and Jane; and siblings Catherine and Christopher. Lucy was genuinely loved.

She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit,  the sincere support she gave to her friends and family, and the joy she had for life. Lucy will be deeply missed.

Arrangements for a memorial are entrusted with Ogden Funeral Home in Scarborough, Ontario, which will be followed by an interment at Pine Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ajax, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Canadian Alzheimer Society.
