DUNLOP, Sandra Ann (nee HOLLETT) - Born October 24, 1938, died May 23, 2021 at her residence in Toronto.
The daughter of former NHL's Flash Hollett (Florence Hollett) of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings.
Sandra married James Niosi, son of King of Swing and Big Band leader and member of CBC's "Happy Gang" Bert Niosi (Margaret Niosi).
Sandra was secretary to 5 successive Mayors of Toronto.
Finishing her career as Toronto's Deputy Registrar.
Sandra is survived by her daughters Jamie Niosi Aiton (Ted Aiton) and Michelle Niosi (Harry Nye), and her grandson Harrison Niosi, as well as her brother Mike Hollett and his 3 children Leslie, Jeremy and Jessica.
Sandra's directness and amusingly pointed opinions won her respect amongst friends and acquaintances as well as professionals / co-workers.
We will miss her humorous quips and salty asides.
