Wakefield CarolWAKEFIELD, Caroline - Born June 25, 1922 now at home with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus, on June 15, 2021.

She was a daughter to Thomas and Luisa Delaney. She was a sister to 4 brothers (Hartley, Tom, George and Paul) who predeceased her.

She is survived by her beloved sister Ruth Heron.

She was a wife to Lloyd K. Wakefield who pre-deceased her 10 years ago.

She was a mother to Ken Wakefield, Pat Savard and John (Cathy) Wakefield.

She was a grandmother to Cameron (Kirsten) Wakefield, Carrie (Jon) Parrish, Daniel (Bethany) Wakefield, Stuart (Sarah) Wakefield, Joy Wakefield, Melody (Josh) Loke, Charis Wakefield, Benjamin (Bri) Savard, Marcel Savard, Sara (Kurtis) Winter, Steven Savard.

She was a great grandmother to Emma, Ella, Evie, William, Benjamin, Susanna, Claire, Andrew, Jemma and Auburn.

She will be greatly missed by our family. In addition to that she will be missed by all those who knew her as “Aunt Carol”. Those who met her during her years as the Children’s camp director at Pleasant Bay Camp – both staff and campers alike.

She will also be missed by the ladies of the coffee hour at Scarborough Baptist Church, which she led and participated in for many years. She will be missed by all her church family and those who have felt her influence in their lives down through the years…

There is not enough time or space to tell you all that she did in her life, and she would not care for all that… but what she would want you to know was that she was a follower of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who redeemed her to God and has taken her home to heaven to live with him eternally.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Shalom Orphanage, Villa Rosario, Cobija, Bolivia or Toronto Baptist Seminary.
