Domizio BettinaDOMIZIO, Bettina - With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Bettina Domizio, on June 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Bettina passed at Trillium Hospital after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Loving wife of Giuseppe Domizio of 63 years. Adored mother of Lucia Tersigni (Frank), Frank (Matilda), Sal (Carmela).

Loving Nonna to Paolo (Diana), Christina (Jason), Elisa, Joseph (Venessa), Mark (Natalie). Great grandmother to Vincent and Vienna.

Bettina immigrated to Canada in 1968, leaving Italy for better opportunities for her and her family.

She strived to learn the English language and adapt to a new world. She worked at Mount Sinai Hospital for 28 years where she delivered food to designated patients, and also made special visits to relatives and friends within the hospital and other adjoining hospitals.

Bettina was a generous and devoted matriarch of her family, friends and community, putting everybody else ahead of herself. Her passion for cooking and baking shined through in all her family dinners and functions.

She volunteered through the Azione Cattolica at St. Catherine of Siena Church participating in preparation of meals for gatherings, visiting patients at Trillium Hospital and taking part in prayer groups, where she developed lasting friendships.

Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel. Due to COVID-19 restrictions visitations and attendance for the funeral is limited and by appointment only. Masks are mandatory. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday June 21st at 9:30 AM and will be livestreamed at https://stcatherine.ca/live-mass

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Peel.
